” With complicated climatic conditions in the Médoc – many rains during the ripening -, the control of the yields was a key of the success in this vintage. During the vinification ; the bleeding helped to densify musts missing some structure. In the end, the wines, of the estate, are elegant, the Merlot are fruity with good balances. The cabernet are rich, dense with a similar structure to vintage 2010.The potential is there for a vintage balanced with some complexity and elegance, ciseled tannins but silky, and a finale ever sappy after only few monthes of ageing. “Claude Gros / Consultant Œnologist
